The Contract Lifecycle

M-Files Contract Management allows efficient and seamless contract management by utilizing an easy-to-use workflow to push contracts through their life cycle.

      1. Creation & Drafting: This phase incorporates all actions involved in creating and drafting a new contract internally. It also includes processes such as using contract templates, assigning authors, and revising/editing.
      2. Collaboration & Negotiation: This stage includes all actions that ensue when a contract is processed with external parties.
      3. Internal Review & Approval: After a contract draft is approved by external parties, it can undergo an internal review and approval process.
      4. Signing: After stages 1 through 3, the contract is then ready to be signed and enacted.
      5. Management: This stage includes all actions that take place once a contract has been enacted, including managing milestones, obligations, and issues.
      6. Termination & Renewal: This stage contains any action that occurs at the end of the contract’s life. This may consist of expiration dates, revising/editing-related deactivations, terminations, or renewals.
