Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Certified by Center for Veterans Enterprise

The Veterans Benefits Act of 2003 (Public Law 108-83) established a procurement program for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns (SDVOSB).

FAR 19.1406 allows sole source awards to SDVOSB concern provided that:

  • Only one SDVOSB can satisfy the requirement (Note: This does not mean the only source, but refers to the only “SDVOSB” available),

  • The award will be less than $3 Million ($5.5 Million for manufacturing),

  • The SDVOSB is a responsible contractor (i.e., the SDVOSB can perform the contract), and

  • The price is reasonable.
